My life as a photographer began in 1992, at the age of sixteen, when I made images for the school annual and paper. While acquiring my political science degree from Portland State University, I had the pleasure of working for the Portland State Vanguard Newspaper. It was here, where I realized that I enjoy being as close to the story as possible, most notably, the very people that make the story. I have always felt more like a technician than artist––though this perspective is changing, however. Much of my current work is editorial and event-based, though I also enjoy making portraits, working with musicians, and photographing the Portland landscape. Contact me, and let me know if I can assist you with your visual ideas.
